No inventory control method applies. Items are randomly picked.
Billing Method: Square Footage Used
Rated based on the peak square footage used during the period.
Billing Method: Reserved Square Footage
Rated based on the square footage reserved whether used or not.
Billing Method: Per Item
Rated based upon the item characteristics: dimensions, weight, and handling requirements.
Each item would be rated separately.
Requires the Customer Piece Catalogue to contain rating details.
Billing Method: Per Hundrew Weight (CWT)
Rated based per hundred weight, usually per 100 pounds.
Billing Method: Per Skid Spot
The number of skid spots used (applies to rackable items only) during the period.
An item may take up to two skid spots.
Billing Method: Daily Rate per Item
A rate per day per item. Used for items that may come in and out of the warehouse multiple times in a period.
For example: motorcycles that are stored over the winter season but may be taken out during good weather.
